Price and free-plan alerts
We email you when a tool you saved lowers its starting price or adds a free plan.
Every tool you save is watched for two changes:
- A lower starting price — compared only like for like, so a monthly price is never compared with a yearly one, or dollars with another currency
- A new free option — a paid tool that adds a free plan
When either happens we send you an email. Turn these alerts on or off in Alerts.
What it is based on
The pricing shown on each tool’s page here, which our team refreshes from the tools’ own pricing pages. A change shows up once that refresh has happened, so an alert can follow the real change by a few days.
Price rises are not emailed, but they do appear in the price-change log on the deals page.
