Getting started
What Aitoolnavio is, and how to get around it.
Finding tools
Search, categories, filters and side-by-side comparison.
- Searching for toolsDescribe what you need in plain words — search is built to handle that, not just exact names.
- Browsing and filtering by categoryEvery category page has an in-category search, pricing filters with counts, and three sort orders.
- Comparing tools side by sideAdd up to four tools to the compare tray and see pricing, popularity, features and ratings in one table.
- The Free, New and Top 100 listsWhat each of the curated lists actually means, since they are built on different rules.
Your account
Registering, signing in, your profile and saved tools.
- Creating an accountSign up with your email, confirm it within 15 minutes, then choose a username and password.
- Signing inUse your email or username, and choose whether to stay signed in for seven days.
- Resetting a forgotten passwordRequest a reset link from the forgot-password page; it stays valid for 60 minutes.
- Updating your profile and photoChange your name, display name, email, website, bio and profile image in Account settings.
- Saving tools to your accountThe bookmark button keeps a tool on your dashboard; it needs an account to follow you between devices.
- What’s on your dashboardCounts, your submitted tools, your saved tools, and recent activity.
Submitting your tool
Getting your product listed, from first draft to published.
- How to submit your toolPaste your website, check the draft we build from it, then choose a listing type.
- How the AI draft worksIt reads your public homepage and pricing page and writes a first pass — which you are expected to correct.
- Icon and thumbnail requirementsIcons: JPG/PNG/GIF up to 50 KB. Thumbnails: JPG only, exactly 2560×1440, up to 400 KB.
- What happens after you submitYour tool is saved as pending, our team reviews it, and it goes live once approved.
- Editing a listing you submittedOpen it from your dashboard; changes go back into the review queue.
- Your tool is already listedIf we already have your website you will see a warning — claim the existing listing rather than adding a second.
Listing plans
Free and paid listings, and what each one includes.
- What a listing includesOne payment, a permanent listing, and what comes with it — described by shape, not by price.
- What the verified badge meansIt marks a listing confirmed with the people who run the tool — not a quality rating.
- Promotional boostsOne-off placements — spotlight, sponsored search, newsletter, review article — arranged by email.
Billing and payments
Paying for a listing, receipts, and what happens if a payment fails.
- Paying for a listingBilling details, then card/UPI/NetBanking or PayPal. Nothing is charged until you press Pay now.
- Your receipt and order detailsA receipt is shown on screen and emailed, with the order reference you will need for support.
- If a payment doesn’t completeWhat each outcome means, and when not to pay again.
- RefundsOnce a listing is published or a claim is approved the fee is not refundable — here is where money can still come back.
Reviews and ratings
Writing reviews, and how scores are worked out.
- Writing a reviewRate five criteria from one to five stars, add a title and your experience, and it goes for approval.
- How the overall score is worked outYour overall score is the average of your five ratings; a tool’s rating is the average of its reviews.
- Why your review isn’t showing yetEvery review is approved before it appears; the tool’s rating updates the next day.
Rankings and data
How tools are ordered, scored, and where the numbers come from.
- How the Popularity Score worksA 0–100 blend of six measured signals, with missing data redistributed rather than counted as zero.
- How tools are ordered in listingsSponsored, then verified, then popularity, traffic and rating — with A–Z only as a tiebreak.
- Where the traffic figures come fromWebsite engagement figures are third-party measurements, shown only when we actually have them.
- What “Sponsored” meansA paid placement. It changes where a listing appears, never its score or its content.
For listing owners
Claiming a listing, fixing errors, and showing your badge.
- Claiming your listingIf your tool is already listed, claim it rather than submitting a second copy.
- Reporting an inaccurate listingUse the Report Inaccuracies link in the sidebar — you do not need to own the tool.
- Embedding your badge on your siteCopy the ready-made HTML from your listing in either the Review or Featured style.
