Sponsored spots
Book one of 12 labeled spots on the homepage and every tool page, for 30 days, from your account.
A Sponsored spot puts your listing in the Featured section on the homepage, directly below search, and in the right-hand column of every tool page. There are 12 spots, and each booking runs for 30 days.
How to book
- You need a live listing. Submit or claim your tool first.
- Open Sponsored in your account and choose the listing.
- Enter your bid. The minimum is shown on the page, and any open spot can be held at the minimum.
- Check the position, start date and end date shown, then pay. They are fixed before you pay.
You can check what position a bid would get, without signing in, on the Advertise page.
How the order works
- The highest bid sits first. Your position is the same everywhere your card appears.
- Equal bids: the one paid first ranks higher.
- Outbid? You move down one place and keep your dates. We email you the amount needed to move back up.
- Top up any time. A top-up is added to your current bid. Your end date stays the same.
- All 12 spots taken? You can still book. Your start date becomes the day the next spot frees up, and you see that date before paying.
It does not renew
One payment covers the 30 days. Nothing is charged again. We remind you 3 days before it ends.
It is always labeled
Every paid placement is marked Sponsored wherever it appears, and never changes a tool’s score, rating or reviews. See What “Sponsored” means.
