Updating your profile and photo

Change your name, display name, email, website, bio and profile image in Account settings.

Everything is in Account settings.

Account settings: an identity card at the top, a Profile image block stating JPG, JPEG or PNG up to 300 KB, and the Profile information fields for first name, last name, display name, username and email address.
Display name is what other people see. The username is fixed.

Profile image

JPG, JPEG or PNG, up to 300 KB. You can remove it at any time; without one you get a coloured tile with your initial.

Profile information

  • First and last name — up to 60 characters each
  • Display name — up to 100 characters, and cannot be left empty. This is the name shown on your reviews
  • Username — shown but not editable
  • Website — must start with http:// or https://
  • Bio — up to 2,000 characters

Kept separately from your profile, and reused to pre-fill checkout the next time you buy a listing. See Paying for a listing.
