Your account works straight away; confirming the address unlocks submitting, claiming, reviews, alerts and Pro.
After you sign up with email we send a confirmation link. It stays valid for seven days. Until you open it, a banner in your account reminds you, with a Resend button if the email went missing — check your spam folder first.
Signing up with Google confirms your address automatically.

These wait because each of them sends receipts, alerts or public content to your address, and we need to know it reaches you.
