Where the traffic figures come from

Website engagement figures are third-party measurements, shown only when we actually have them.

The Website Engagement section on a tool page shows third-party measurements of the tool’s own site: monthly visits, bounce rate, average visit duration, pages per visit, and country, global and category ranks, plus charts for traffic over time, traffic sources and traffic by country.

If the section is missing

We have no data for that tool, so nothing is shown. The section is never rendered with estimates or placeholders — an invented number is worse than an absent one.

How accurate is it?

These are external estimates of third-party traffic, not figures from the tool’s own analytics. Treat them as a sense of scale rather than exact counts. Where a tool has verified its figures through Google Analytics, the section says so.
