About ScriptHaul
ScriptHaul retrieves public YouTube captions for videos, playlists, channels, or Shorts in bulk. Users paste one or more links and receive clean text files with optional timestamps in formats such as TXT, SRT, VTT, Markdown, or JSON. The tool handles up to 500 videos per job, newest first, and provides a live job page that can be bookmarked for later access. It reports missing captions explicitly rather than silently skipping them. Transcripts are cached for instant reuse on repeat requests. Filenames and accompanying manifests track video IDs, caption tracks, and status details for each entry. The service operates without requiring an account or payment and offers a browser extension for one-click transcript fetching from YouTube pages.
